Wanna come over and help me too, JK Lol, I'll probably head over to SpecialBuick62's house on Sunday and we'll wash our rangers and his buick.

At higher altitude you don't need as much octane. It's kosher.

That's the one good thing about owning a car this tiny, it takes only a few minutes to wash it by hand. The first time I did it I bought way too much time at the car wash.

Gas was a lot cheaper than that, when your truck was new. I started driving in '97, and gas was about $1/gallon then. I was HORRIFIED the first time gas went up enough, that it cost $35 to fill up my dad's '95 Chevy K-1500.
That said, I'm enjoying the current price drop quite a bit.

I remember filling up my Sierra (4WD, of course) in 1995 for $1.41 at Costco...and bitching about it. I remember talking to someone at the pump across from me saying "I never thought I'd see people line up to pay $1.41/gallon..." But, alas on Monday, I filled up at Costco for $2.31 and was just all a-tingle that it came in under $40...

Summer of '98 I traded in my '90 CRX SI for a '96 Yukon. The gas station where I lived Virginia had a special not too long after for 60¢ gallon. Non sale prices were still under $1.00. Good times.
And before anyone asks, no regrets selling the CRX. The Yukon was good times on the Outer Banks.

So, the lowest we get here is 87. Is 85 perfectly fine for most cars that don't need premium?
